Do you love people as much as you love animals? Are you the kind of person who can calm a worried owner, juggle a ringing phone and a full waiting room, and still make every single client feel looked after? If so, we want to hear from you.
A Bit About Us
Our Maidstone practice is part of Pennard Vets, an independent, multi-site veterinary group across Kent. Being independent and under clinical leadership means the people making decisions about care are the same people delivering it — and that same standard of care extends to how we look after our clients too. Being part of the wider Pennard group means you get the backing and resources of a larger organisation, without losing the close-knit, know-everyone's-name feel of a local practice.
The Role
Behind every great consultation is a team that made it possible
We're looking for a brilliant Client Care Advisor to join our Maidstone team. You'll be the first face and voice our clients meet — managing bookings, answering queries, handling payments, and making sure every client and patient who comes through our doors feels welcomed, informed, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
This is a 40-hour-per-week role, with weekend working built into the rota as standard — shared across the team so no one's carrying it alone.
At Pennard Vets, we believe every pet deserves the right care, in the right way, at the right time — and that starts with how we treat the people who bring them in. As a Client Care Advisor, you're not just the front desk — you're a vital part of delivering that.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What your days will look like
- 📞 Managing a busy phone line and diary — booking appointments, prioritising urgent cases, and keeping the day running smoothly for clients and clinical teams alike.
- 🐾 Welcoming clients and patients, putting nervous owners (and their pets) at ease from the moment they walk in.
- 💳 Handling client accounts, payments, and admin accurately and efficiently — because good care depends on good foundations.
- 🤝 Working closely with our nursing and vet teams to keep communication flowing between reception and clinical care.
- 🏥 Being part of a busy, energetic practice team where no two days are the same — and where what you do makes a genuine difference to every client's experience.
You'll Fit Right In If You…
