Client Care Advisor
If you're passionate about delivering excellent customer service and thrive in a team environment, our Altrincham Vets for Pets practice has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Client Care Advisor.
This is a client-facing role that combines both front of house and administrative responsibilities, playing a key part in delivering an excellent patient and client experience. We are seeking an individual with proven experience in reception/administration, call handling, and front of house duties, ideally within a veterinary or medical environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues. You'll be proactive, resilient, able to use your initiative, and remain calm under pressure. For the right candidate, this role could be recruited at Senior Client Care Advisor level, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Confidently managing busy diaries and appointment systems
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and Word)
- Strong written communication and email management skills
- Proficient in digital practice management systems (or similar platforms)
What Your Typical Day Will Look Like
Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets, and the practice team will be critical to your success.

- Greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise
- Manage payments and future bookings confidently
- Coordinate the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice using our online booking system
- Ensure computer literacy
You will be joining our supportive team of 4 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 VCA, and 6 CCAs.
The Role
This is a part-time position working 29 hours per week. Our current rota consists of two 10-hour shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday (9.00am–7.00pm), together with one Saturday in every four. There is flexibility for the role to include an additional 9-hour shift for the right candidate.

- Friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice
- Ability to provide guidance by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available
- Calm, attentive, and always focus on the clients’ needs
- Bring enthusiasm and drive to your role
- Passion for service matched with your love of pets
- Ability to deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet
