Front of House: Heart of the Hospital

Salary: £26,436.80 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Sevenoaks, TN13
Closing Date: 4 November 2026, midday

Independently owned and proud of it, we’re a practice where people come first: our clients, their pets, and our team.

We’re looking for a Client Care Advisor to join the front-of-house team at our purpose-built hospital in Sevenoaks. If you’re the person people instantly relax around, can handle a ringing phone, a worried owner, and a full waiting room without losing your warmth, and want to work somewhere care starts the moment someone walks through the door, this is the role for you.

What The Day Looks Like

You’ll be the first voice clients hear and the first face they see. Welcoming owners and their pets, answering calls, booking appointments, keeping the diary running smoothly, taking payments, and answering questions about their pet’s care. Some days that means a puppy’s first vaccination; others it means spotting an emergency on the phone and getting that patient seen fast, or supporting an owner through one of the hardest moments they’ll face. You’ll work hand in hand with our vets and nurses, and your judgement will matter: this is client care where you’re trusted to think, not just follow a script.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our hospital has three dedicated theatres, separate dog, cat, and exotics wards, a full imaging suite, and in-house labs, all under one roof. You’ll be the link between our clients and everything that happens behind the scenes.

Most of our clients have unlimited consults too, so you’ll get to know the regulars, their pets, and their stories. That means real relationships rather than one-and-done visits.

You’ll fit right in if you…

  • Love talking to people and genuinely care about giving them a good experience
  • Stay calm and kind when things get busy, or when someone’s having a tough day
  • Communicate clearly, whether that’s with an anxious owner or the vet running the consult
  • Are organised, quick to learn new systems, and like keeping things running smoothly
  • Enjoy being part of a close team who look out for each other

Previous vet experience is a bonus, not a must. If you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, or any customer-facing role, we’d love to hear from you.
