This isn’t just a front desk role, you’ll be the heart of the practice, creating positive experiences for pets and their people every single day.
What Your Day Will Look Like
No two days are the same, and that’s exactly how you like it.
- Be the warm, friendly face greeting clients and their pets
- Provide exceptional customer service from arrival to departure
- Act as the vital link between clients and the clinical team
- Manage bookings, payments, and enquiries confidently
- Keep the practice running smoothly using our online booking system
- Offer reassurance, guidance, and support whether celebrating a new puppy visit or comforting a worried owner
Your ability to build strong relationships with clients, pets, and colleagues will be key. We want every client to leave feeling cared for, valued, and confident in their pet’s care.
Our Team
You’ll be joining a dedicated, fun, and hardworking team of:
- 2 Vets
- 3 RVNs
- 2 Student Veterinary Nurses
- 2 VCAs
- 2 Receptionists
- A Practice Manager
All led by Lenesa Govender, our Lead Vet and Practice Owner, who opened the practice in 2016 and brings 18+ years of veterinary experience, much of it in senior roles.

What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a veterinary practice or receptionist experience
- Is calm, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of pets
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Can balance compassion with efficiency
- Is comfortable using computer systems and managing bookings
Most importantly, you enjoy being busy, helping people, and making a real difference in someone’s day.
The Role
- Part-time, but can discuss the potential of Full-time
- 1 in 3 Saturdays on a fair rota basis (although we’re happy to offer additional shifts)
