Client Commercial Team Manager
We are currently hiring for a Client Commercial Team Manager to lead a team responsible for commercial contract renewals, remedial quoting, and sales administration, for an established fire protection and security systems business in Birmingham.
This role manages 3 renewal coordinators, within a wider sales division of 9. You'll oversee the end-to-end renewal process for commercial service contracts, direct the preparation and submission of remedial and repair quotations, and act as escalation point for complex renewal negotiations and remedial scope discussions.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising and developing a team of contract administrators and estimators handling renewal cycles, remedial quotations, and sales administration
- Managing workload allocation across multiple contracts and projects to ensure deadlines are met
- Overseeing the full renewal process for commercial service contracts, including pricing adjustments and scope changes
- Directing quotation preparation for remedial and additional scope work, establishing standardised pricing methodologies and approval workflows
- Maintaining CRM systems, sales tracking, and generating reports on renewal success rates and remedial work trends
- Building relationships with key clients to support contract retention and expansion
- Developing and refining SOPs for renewals and quoting workflows
- Ensuring renewals and quotations comply with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for:
- Experience in contract management, commercial operations, or facilities management
- Supervisory or management experience, with a track record of driving performance improvement and developing talent
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, pricing structures, and estimating principles
- Proficiency in CRM systems, contract management software, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Experience balancing client needs with profitability, including negotiation and value proposition development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information to a range of stakeholders

Package:
- £45,000 - £52,000
- 5 Days onsite
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy 5 additional days
