The Client Compliance Senior will join RSM UK’s Employer Services Compliance team, playing a key role in ensuring client due diligence and Anti Money Laundering checks and engagement documentation are completed and maintained in line with regulatory requirements. As part of RSM UK, a leading audit, tax and consulting firm with over 5,000 employees across 29 UK offices and a global network of 65,000 professionals, the team supports payroll and people advisory services by ensuring engagements meet the firm’s ethical and professional standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance, client onboarding, AML, KYC or a related field, alongside strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities, review work, support colleagues and contribute to continuous process improvements.

You will make an impact by

  • Complete and review client due diligence, AML/KYC checks, beneficial ownership reviews, conflict checks and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Manage the onboarding of new clients and services, working closely with Business Development teams to ensure engagements are set up efficiently and within agreed timescales.
  • Draft, review and maintain engagement letters and related documentation, including liaising with clients, partners and legal teams on terms and conditions where required.
  • Support ongoing compliance activities by maintaining client records, updating AML information, assisting with disengagements and providing guidance on compliance-related matters.
  • Review colleagues’ work, provide coaching and training, contribute to process improvements, and stay up to date with regulatory changes and best practice in compliance and anti-money laundering

  • Confident communicator who can build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, work collaboratively, and use initiative to solve problems independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications, with experience reviewing work, supporting colleagues, and maintaining high standards of quality.
