About the role you're considering
Capgemini is seeking an experienced senior delivery leader to lead large-scale, complex digital transformation programmes for strategic clients in the Consumer Goods sector.
You will act as a strategic delivery partner to clients, accountable for execution of global transformation programmes across products, platforms, and applications. You will govern digital delivery, orchestrate cross-domain teams, and ensure resilient, scalable, and secure operations, while shaping strategy, managing risk, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
This is a senior, client-facing role operating at executive level, with accountability for multi-million delivery portfolios, delivery excellence, and growth.
Hybrid working: The places that you work day to day will vary according to your role, your needs and that of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client site and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home for 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual), or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery strategy: Translate client strategy into clear execution roadmaps, plans, and operating models
- Orchestrate complex delivery: Align multiple teams, domains, and platforms; manage dependencies and drive joined-up execution
- Own governance & performance: Run planning cycles, steering forums, and delivery governance to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes
- Act as escalation point: Manage complex risks, issues, and client escalations with pace and confidence
- Drive operational excellence: Ensure reliability, scalability, and secure-by-design delivery across the technology landscape, promoting transformation, engineering excellence and continuous improvement across teams.
- Optimise cost & performance: Use data-driven insights to improve flow, efficiency, and capacity
- Lead at executive level: Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and shape key decisions
- Enable growth: Identify and drive delivery-led opportunities across the client portfolio

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
