Job Purpose

The Client Delivery Manager is accountable for a range of activities, including overseeing the execution of standalone projects and integrated retainers, across our entire service offering. This includes Content, Design, Digital Marketing, Strategy, and Web. They will work collaboratively with project team members to plan and oversee all activities of their owned projects and ensure all tasks and goals are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Using our chosen Project Management platform and supporting suite of tools, the Client Delivery Manager will own all project milestones from initial set-up through completion and financial reporting. By balancing world-class customer experience, adhering to core project management principles, and making commercially minded decisions, the Client Delivery will play a significant role in the agency achieving its financial goals.

What does a Client Delivery Manager at Ramarketing do?

A Client Delivery Manager will be accountable for coordinating activity across their owned projects and accounts. This could include helping to shape statements of work, creating and revising timelines, scheduling activities across our Capability departments, providing status updates to stakeholders, and keeping our Project Management platform up to date and reflective of status.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Quality

  • Establish accurate project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Allocate and manage internal resources effectively, ensuring best practices in project execution.
  • Measure and report on project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Scope project and retainer tasks accurately, seeking input from colleagues when needed.

Communication & Relationships

  • Ensure all written and verbal communications are clear, concise, and on-brand.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on project status, managing expectations and negotiations effectively.
  • Communicate deadlines and scope clearly to clients and colleagues for accurate delivery.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers (e.g., IT, printers, hosting, CRM, CMS) to meet client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support account growth and handle concerns professionally.
  • Escalate issues to department heads when necessary.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Work with client leads to deliver projects efficiently, proactively identifying risks.
  • Provide high-level reporting and insights to inform key decision-making.
  • Analyse budget variations and escalate findings to the head of project delivery.
