Join a forward-thinking professional services firm operating at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial strategy, supporting clients across innovation-led and complex sectors. This role drives revenue growth by enabling structured business development activity and managing key client programmes. Acting as a central commercial enabler, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to build pipelines, strengthen client relationships, and improve win rates.
The position is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from home anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured 1:1 BD sessions with senior professionals to create and track individual business development plans
- Support opportunity identification, relationship development, and pipeline progression across priority sectors
- Lead client development planning for key accounts, including stakeholder mapping and cross-selling opportunities
- Coordinate joined-up client engagement activity to strengthen relationships and uncover growth opportunities
- Own CRM discipline, ensuring accurate lead capture, pipeline visibility, and timely follow-up actions
- Support major pursuits, including proposal development, coordination of contributors, and submission management
- Develop compelling value propositions, credentials, and supporting sales materials
- Work with internal insight functions to translate market and client data into actionable BD strategies

- Proven experience in business development/client development within professional services
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior professionals
- Experience managing pipelines, client plans, and supporting complex pursuits or tenders
- Excellent written communication and proposal development capability
- Highly organised with a proactive, structured approach and strong commercial awareness
