Perch Group are looking for a Client Development Manager!

Role Overview

As the Client Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth across an assigned portfolio of existing clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities, predominantly within the debt purchase sector.

The role combines strategic account development, client success and governance with proactive business development, identifying opportunities to expand services, strengthen partnerships and maximise long-term client value.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • End to end ownership of client relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans.
  • Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across all Group business units.
  • Lead commercial discussions, renewals and service expansion opportunities.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, predominantly within the debt purchase market.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and industry contacts.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of new commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with the business development team to coordinate market activity.
  • Lead governance meetings and client performance reviews.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and manage escalations where required.
  • Collaborate with Client Operations, Client Services and Marketing to deliver an outstanding client experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, client development or business development.
  • Experience within debt purchase, financial services or a related sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify, qualify and convert growth opportunities.
  • Confident presenting to senior client stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, organised and outcome focused.

  • 37.5 hours per week. We offer flexible and hybrid working between our core hours of 8am- 6pm, Monday to Friday.
