The Role
As a Client Director at TMC, you are responsible for leading client partnerships, delivering exceptional client experience, and supporting commercial growth. You oversee the day-to-day health of key accounts, build trusted relationships, and identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships through commercially valuable work.
You are accountable for the quality and consistency of work shared with clients, leading meetings, presenting work, and ensuring projects are delivered smoothly in collaboration with the Project Leadership team. You uphold TMC's creative and operational standards while helping clients navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
Success in this role requires strong relationship management, commercial awareness, and the ability to proactively solve problems. You build lasting client partnerships, contribute to business growth, and operate with a collaborative mindset that supports both TMC and the wider Midnight Group.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading client relationships, ensuring exceptional service, strong partnership health, and successful project delivery.
- Overseeing project delivery, budgets, timelines, and operational planning, working closely with the Project Leadership team.
- Line managing and developing the Project Leadership team, ensuring effective resourcing, planning, and operational excellence.
- Driving collaboration across disciplines to deliver outstanding creative work and strong commercial outcomes.
- Owning client forecasting, commercial performance, and business planning, providing accurate reporting and identifying growth opportunities.
- Reviewing and approving Statements of Work, estimates, and commercial proposals, ensuring quality, accuracy, and profitability.
- Building trusted client relationships beyond individual projects, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and generate new business across the Midnight Group.
- Partnering with Senior Leadership to share pipeline updates, client insights, and strategic opportunities.
- Championing TMC's B Corp commitments, embedding responsible business practices across client partnerships.
- Adopting a Group mindset, collaborating across Midnight companies to cross-sell services and drive sustainable group growth.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar Account Director or Senior Account Management role
- Strong experience in presenting to clients and relationship building
- Strong experience in delivering multiple mixed-media campaigns
- Relevant experience in creating & managing presentations, across Google Suite, Microsoft, or Keynote
- Competent in putting together estimates for simple projects
- Comfortable with financially tracking projects
- A wider interest in culture outside of work - bringing in new perspectives to the company
- Understanding of agency process
- Organised and methodical with high attention to detail
- Experience leading a team of at least 2 Account Managers or Account Executives
