Client Director

NelsonHall has an opening for a Client Director covering accounts across India and EMEA.

This is an opportunity to liaise with industry leaders in IT and business process services.

Duties and responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking direct account management responsibility for the relationships with nominated NelsonHall accounts and prospects
  • Maintaining, developing, and enhancing relationships between yourself and the NelsonHall analysts, client/prospect executives, and key personnel, including visiting key accounts regularly
  • Working with NelsonHall industry analysts to both identify opportunities and assist them in enhancing their relationships with clients of their research programs
  • The sale of NelsonHall’s research subscriptions and services in support of nominated NelsonHall accounts and prospects
  • Sale of NelsonHall programs & bespoke research into accounts and new prospects. You will have full responsibility for all sales into your nominated accounts, both existing accounts and new prospects
  • Identifying opportunities for custom/project business within your accounts.

Activities include:

  • Working with analyst relations personnel and senior executives of IT services and BPS firms to assist them in maximizing their value from NelsonHall
  • Arranging proactive briefings between client executives and NelsonHall analysts
  • Arranging and conducting face-to-face meetings between NelsonHall analysts and client executives on their premises and at industry conferences and events
  • Regularly providing analyst relations personnel and other applicable client personnel with details of the services and value delivered by NelsonHall analysts
  • Working with NelsonHall’s client support personnel and marketing to identify firms and executives for inclusion in NelsonHall reports
  • Initial subscription program sales & renewals
  • Selling usage rights to NelsonHall’s NEAT vendor evaluation tools to clients
  • Identifying commercial opportunities for whitepapers, maturity indices, and other marketing support services.

Qualifications

Would potentially suit individuals with:

  • Account management experience covering both cultivating accounts and hunting new business
  • Significant experience in sales of subscription services to major multinationals
  • Marketing services sales experience into major corporates
  • Experience with analyst or research firm.
