Client Manager (IT Channel & Infrastructure Sales)

Location: Basingstoke or Canary Wharf

Package: Competitive salary + uncapped commission + benefits

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Client Manager to join a growing technology solutions provider. This role combines account management and business development responsibilities, allowing you to grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new revenue opportunities.

You'll act as a trusted adviser to customers, understanding their business challenges and helping them leverage technology solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new solution opportunities.
  • Develop new business within existing accounts and identify net-new customers.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans aligned to customer objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across customer organisations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity generation through to close.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, and forecasting data.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate competitive solutions alongside internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven success in Account Management, Business Development, or B2B Sales.
  • Experience growing existing accounts while generating new business opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
  • Experience managing and developing sales pipelines.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable proactively engaging customers.

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience working with UK technology resellers or channel partners.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networking, or related solutions.
  • CRM expertise and strategic account planning experience.

The successful candidate will be measured on revenue growth, account expansion, new customer acquisition, pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and the strength of customer relationships developed.
