Client Engagement Architect (Technology Advisory)

Principal Engagement Architect

Location: London, UK

Principal Engagement Architects at Thoughtworks are delivery and solution leaders for AI-native advisory engagements. This high-impact role combines the responsibilities of an engagement manager, product leader, and systems thinker. You will dictate how high-level strategy translates into working solutions and measurable outcomes—acting as the critical connector between client intent, business outcomes, and execution reality.

You bring clarity and impact to complex engagements, breaking through obstacles, mobilising teams, and ensuring success. Your expertise in AI-native strategy, strong opinions informed by high intellectual curiosity, and adaptability will drive innovation at the forefront of AI.

Job Responsibilities

Outcome Ownership

  • Own the delivery of measurable outcomes, translating client goals into clear workstreams, milestones, and outputs while driving the "last mile"—from idea to implementation.
  • Break down complex, ambiguous problems into tangible, actionable components, coordinating across team members, AI agents, and stakeholders.

AI-Native Delivery Leadership

  • Structure and lead AI-native advisory engagements, designing end-to-end workflows for analysis, scenario modeling, workflow generation, and documentation.
  • Ensure output quality coherence, reviewing materials for logical consistency, business relevance, and technical feasibility while crafting a cohesive narrative.

Client & Stakeholder Interface

  • Interface with senior client leadership (CTOs, CIOs, Program Leads), translating strategic recommendations into practical execution paths in real time—navigating tradeoffs with (bold)technical rigor and alignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
