About this role
The Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) group manages the partnerships formed with each BlackRock Aladdin client and is the trusted advisor, problem solver and business partner to Aladdin clients. They are the key point of contact and are charged with driving, deepening and growing the relationship over time through product and analytics knowledge. The Client Manager is highly focused on understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organisations and on providing analytical and investment process solutions that leverage the capabilities of the entire Aladdin Business organization.

As a member of one of BlackRock’s fastest growing areas you will have the commercial and client-facing skillset to work on the complete investment lifecycle, leveraging cutting edge technology to help some of the largest institutions and investors in the world.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, driving to identify, understand, and solve complex analytical problems
- Own relationships with client teams including senior management to understand their business objectives and needs, and help them use Aladdin expertise to achieve their firm’s goals
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to shape business objectives into measurable commercial outcomes that strengthen long-term relationships and drive account growth
- Drive engagement campaigns with end users and go-to market strategies to increase Aladdin penetration and commercial outcomes within assigned client segments
- Build strong internal relationships within the Aladdin Business, and the wider BlackRock, in support of your clients
- Develop a deep understanding of your client’s business objectives, and help leverage Aladdin expertise to achieve their organization’s goals
- Provide impactful solutions, combining investment lifecycle expertise with your knowledge of financial markets
- Work closely with Aladdin product managers, developers, and financial modelers to further the value proposition of the Aladdin platform

You have:
- Experience with buy-side investment management workflows and familiarity with portfolio managers’ styles, tools and processes
- A working knowledge of risk, data, analytics and client reporting processes acquired either through direct experience or in a consulting capacity
- Familiarity with capital markets instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) including private markets such as private equity, infrastructure, real assets etc.
- A consultative approach to understanding client needs and a passion for solving problems, combined with a commercial mindset and drive for revenue generating opportunities
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating clarity, influence, and consistency in interactions across internal and external audiences
- Strong interest in technology, with prior knowledge of databases and an aptitude for learning new systems
- A self-starter mindset and drive to succeed in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, working as part of a multi-disciplinary global team
- Emotional ownership, pride in what you do and a strong team ethos
- 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services, Technology, Consulting or Buy Side firm
You may have:
- Understanding of data interfacing, e.g., APIs, SFTPs
- A working knowledge of SQL, UNIX, VBA, R, Python or similar, and/or Aladdin
- CFA, FRM or other professional qualifications

Our hybrid work model
