We have an opening within our Insurance Solutions team who provide investment advice and portfolio construction for primarily Insurance clients, but also cater to other Financial Services firms as well.
The position will involve working closely with one of our Client Directors on their global client book, managing day-to-day administration including portfolio administration, reporting, and potentially getting involved in the booking of trades.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in administrative duties within the Investment Management arena who, as well as doing the “day-job,” can also look at ways of improving our processes and efficiency within the team as a whole.
Operating a hybrid working policy of 3 days a week in the office, this will be a 9-5 job ideally suited to someone with experience in Investment Management who is highly organized and enjoys getting things done.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
