Client Executive / Broker – Construction (International Energy)

About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction team at Marsh Risk. This is a market-leading specialty business servicing all aspects of the construction and infrastructure sector both in the UK and overseas. Our client base includes major construction and engineering companies as well as large industrial groups and property investors.
Responsibilities:
- Exposure to major project insurance placements within the international construction sector specializing in energy.
- Planning broking strategy with clients or network offices and brokering in the UK and International markets to attain lead terms and/or support to lead terms.
- Work closely with major clients and network offices providing both quasi retail and wholesale support.
- Provide technical insurance advice on a wide variety of challenges that face our clients daily.
- Become a member of a close-knit team of dedicated construction insurance specialists who provide an outstanding service to the construction industry.
- Industry-focused insurance and technical training from the market-leading construction insurance professionals.
- Work in a busy environment with an experienced and supportive team.
- Build on your existing insurance and industry knowledge and manage relationships with our broking and claims teams along with other support colleagues.

Requirements:
- Client and market-facing experience within Construction Clients or large corporate clients.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to develop strong relationships with senior-level client contact points.
- Technical competence in CAR/TPL/DSU classes of insurance.
