About the Team
Carat is Dentsu's global media network, built on the belief that media can drive meaningful growth for brands, businesses and society. As part of the Carat team, you'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of world-class brands, collaborating with specialists across media, creative, strategy, analytics and digital performance to deliver integrated communications solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Purpose of the Role
The Client Executive plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day management and delivery of media activity across account teams. Working closely with the Client Manager and wider account team, you will support campaign planning, project coordination, client servicing and reporting, helping ensure activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard. The role offers exposure to multiple clients and media channels, providing an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge of media planning, campaign management and client relationship building within a collaborative agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Support the day-to-day management of client accounts and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the coordination of client communications, meetings and status updates.
- Help ensure client requests are managed efficiently and delivered within agreed timelines.
- Provide high levels of organisation and attention to detail across all account activity.
Campaign Planning & Delivery
- Support the delivery of integrated media campaigns across multiple channels, including social, display, video and search.
- Coordinate campaign activity with specialist teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in the preparation of campaign plans, timelines and status reports.
- Monitor project progress and flag potential risks, delays or issues where appropriate.

Reporting & Analysis
- Support campaign reporting and performance reviews.
- Monitor campaign delivery and sales data, identifying trends and highlighting insights.
- Assist in tracking campaign effectiveness against agreed objectives.
- Help produce clear and accurate reporting documents and presentations.
Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Work collaboratively with teams across Carat and the wider Dentsu network.
- Build relationships with media owners, partners and internal specialists.
- Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Market & Industry Awareness
- Develop an understanding of media, marketing and consumer trends.
- Conduct research into market developments, audience behaviour and competitor activity.
- Share relevant insights that could support planning and client recommendations.
- Continue building knowledge across media channels and the wider marketing landscape.

Essential Experience
- Previous internship, placement year or experience within media, marketing, advertising or a client-facing environment is advantageous.
- Strong interest in media, communications and digital marketing.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
