Job Title

Client Executive Sales Trading

Job Description

Who are we?

IG has been at the centre of retail trading and investment since 1974, when we helped create the market for financial spread betting. Today, we're a FTSE100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 700,000 clients and handling billions in transactions - built on decades of scale, trust and proof. We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that’s rare in established businesses. The bar is high - bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next. Join us at IG – the future gets built here.

Your team

Joining our close-knit Client Executive team, you’ll report into our Team Lead - Sales Trading to deliver service excellence through consistent desk coverage, rapid response times, and high client satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive client records in CRM with detailed interaction history

  • Participate in desk coverage schedule to ensure premium client accessibility during trading hours and peak periods
  • Work collaboratively to achieve team-based service targets and maintain accountability for premium service standards
  • Share best practices and support peers during high-volume periods to maintain service standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
