Partners& – Client Executive – SME

Role Description

The Client Executive – SME is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Southwest (Bristol or South Molton), with flexibility for some work from home. The primary purpose of this role is to develop, grow, and retain a personal portfolio of insurance clients and to achieve overall financial targets, whilst driving sales and business development within your team.

What You'll Do

  • Become a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, building long-lasting relationships.
  • Lead and grow a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business and exceed growth targets.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects, identifying opportunities across the market.
  • Use your technical insurance expertise to advise clients and support wider client teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across trading, placement and specialist teams to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
  • Ensure compliance, governance and client service standards are maintained to the highest level.
  • Contribute strategic ideas and opportunities that support regional and business growth.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Achieved or working towards CII
  • Sound technical knowledge of the Insurance Industry with reference to commercial insurance.
  • Demonstrable ability to provide a responsive first-class service to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and administration skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Knowledge of the wider Partners& offering.
  • Ability to organise workflow, prioritise tasks and manage own time.
  • Confident user of technology and software e.g. MS Office and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of broking processes and regulatory standards.
  • Working knowledge of FCA compliance rules.
  • Competent user of insurance client system; Acturis an advantage.
