Client Finance Manager
Salary: £30,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission
OTE: £60,000 – £100,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, plus rota Saturdays
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Chelmsford, Essex (Office-Based)

The Role
As a Client Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer finance enquiries, identifying suitable finance options, and guiding customers through the application process from initial enquiry through to completion.

Working within an FCA-regulated environment, you'll deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring all sales processes remain compliant and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert inbound finance enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with customers and understand their individual requirements.
- Recommend suitable vehicle finance products based on customer needs and eligibility.
- Explain finance products, terms, and agreements clearly and professionally.
- Complete affordability checks and credit assessments.
- Ensure all activity complies with FCA regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Liaise with lenders, dealerships, and business partners to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Achieve and exceed finance conversion targets and performance KPIs.
- Support fraud prevention and regulatory compliance processes.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within motor finance, automotive sales, vehicle finance brokerage, or an FCA-regulated sales environment.
- Strong understanding of finance products and the customer sales journey.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated with a target-driven mentality.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.

Desirable
- SAF accreditation.
- Experience working within a broker environment.
- Knowledge of vehicle finance, asset finance, warranties, and insurance products.
- Understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
