About The Role

DOSH is a growing payments and e-money business, and we're looking for a Client Fund Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical, reconciliation, or finance operations experience who wants to develop their expertise within a regulated financial services environment.

Whether you're already working within payments, reconciliations, or finance operations, or you're looking to build a long-term career in banking, fintech, or regulated financial services, this role offers genuine development opportunities and exposure to a broad range of operational, safeguarding, and regulatory activities.

Please note that this primarily an office-based role worked from both our Hereford and Cheltenham Offices.

As a Client Fund Specialist, you'll play an important role in ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions while helping maintain strong controls and compliance across DOSH operations.

You'll

  • Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support payment processing activities and financial controls.
  • Analyse data and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
  • Support audit and compliance activities.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Develop specialist knowledge in safeguarding, payments, and regulatory requirements.

Why this role is different

This isn't just a processing role.

We're looking for someone who is curious, keen to learn, and wants to build a career. You'll gain exposure to payment operations, safeguarding of regulated funds, reconciliations of client funds, compliance requirements, and financial services controls while working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
