Overview

We’re looking for a Client Funds Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at Gallagher Bassett International Ltd. This role is perfect for someone who’s eager to learn about the financial side of the insurance claims process. You’ll receive full training on the job, plus access to external courses and support for professional qualifications like CII. You’ll start with two months of office-based training before moving to a hybrid working pattern (two days a week in the office).

How you'll make an impact

  • Allocate incoming cash receipts and maintain client cash books using Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Reconcile client money and review funding positions.
  • Process payments via online banking.
  • Respond to claims handler queries through our ticketing system.
  • Provide remittances and payment information.
  • Verify and maintain bank details.
  • Support month-end reporting, including bank reconciliations and transaction summaries.
  • Analyse claims financial data and resolve discrepancies.

Your work will help ensure our clients’ financial processes run smoothly and meet deadlines.

About You

  • Has good numeracy, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Can prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload.
  • Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
  • Is eager to learn and try new things.
  • Builds strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Is comfortable working both from home and in the office.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Accurate data input skills.
  • A genuine interest in finance.
