Are you an experienced financial services administrator who knows how to take ownership of ceding scheme cases and keep them moving?
We are a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place based in Wimborne, Dorset, established in 2005, and we are looking for an experienced Client Journey & Ceding Scheme Administrator to join our growing wealth management practice.
This is a newly created role combining two important areas of our client journey: managing client review bookings, preparing pre-meeting packs and taking ownership of the information-gathering stage of pension and investment replacement cases.
The Role:
✅ Prepare and issue Letters of Authority
✅ Liaise directly with pension and investment providers
✅ Obtain, track and chase outstanding ceding scheme information
✅ Review returned information for obvious gaps or missing detail
✅ Maintain clear provider notes and accurate internal records
✅ Organise cases so they are complete and ready for technical review
✅ Manage client review bookings and follow-up
✅ Coordinate telephone, virtual and face-to-face appointments
✅ Work closely with our adviser, operations, client servicing and paraplanning teams

What You’ll Need:
✔️ Previous hands-on experience of ceding scheme administration within financial services
✔️ Practical experience with Letters of Authority and provider information gathering
✔️ Experience dealing with pension and investment providers
✔️ Strong organisation and attention to detail
✔️ Confidence speaking with clients and providers
✔️ The ability to manage multiple open cases without losing momentum
✔️ A proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility for your own workload
Experience within wealth management or financial planning would be strongly preferred, and experience with Salesforce, St. James’s Place systems or similar platforms would be advantageous.
