The Role
An award-winning AI Consulting firm is looking for an experienced Client Lead to take ownership of a major CPG relationship and play a key role in developing the account.
This is a senior, high-visibility position combining executive client engagement, strategic programme leadership and commercial growth. You’ll act as the senior point of contact for the client, ensuring that delivery remains aligned to business priorities while identifying opportunities to deepen and expand the relationship.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop a strategic CPG client relationship, building trusted relationships with senior business, data and technology stakeholders.
- Understand the client’s priorities and translate their challenges into opportunities for Data, AI and consulting solutions.
- Shape and develop new opportunities, working with internal specialists to create compelling propositions and drive them through to completion.
- Provide senior-level oversight of a major programme, ensuring workstreams remain focused on business outcomes and agreed objectives.
- Lead executive governance discussions, bringing clarity to strategic decisions, risks, dependencies and escalations.
- Partner closely with the Delivery Lead, providing the strategic and commercial leadership alongside operational delivery.
- Take responsibility for the commercial health of the account, including revenue, margin, pipeline, scope and contract discussions.
- Develop and maintain a clear account-growth strategy and a healthy pipeline of future opportunities.

About You
You’ll have a strong track record in Data & AI Consulting with experience managing significant client relationships and developing accounts.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience engaging and influencing senior/executive stakeholders.
- A track record of identifying, shaping and winning new business.
- Experience providing strategic oversight of complex programmes and managing senior governance.
- Strong commercial awareness, including revenue, margin, pipeline and contractual negotiations.
- A broad understanding of Data, Analytics and AI, and the ability to connect technology to tangible business outcomes.
- The confidence and credibility to operate independently with senior clients.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience within CPG/FMCG, retail or another consumer-facing environment would be advantageous, particularly exposure to areas such as marketing, sales, customer strategy, revenue growth or supply chain.
