Salary - £85k + great benefits

Location: London | Work Arrangement: Hybrid Working

I have partnered with an award-winning independent media agency to recruit a Business Director to lead one of the agency's largest and most strategically important client accounts.

This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who thrives on building trusted client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering integrated media strategies that drive measurable business results.

The opportunity

  • You will take ownership of a flagship account, acting as the senior client lead while overseeing strategic planning, media investment, commercial performance, and team leadership.
  • Working alongside specialists across planning, activation, data, and analytics, you will ensure exceptional client service while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • You will also play an important role in agency development through mentoring, commercial leadership, and supporting new business activity.

What you will be doing

  • Leading senior client relationships and becoming a trusted strategic partner.
  • Overseeing integrated media planning and buying across multiple channels.
  • Driving commercial performance, forecasting, and account profitability.
  • Leading and developing a talented client leadership team.
  • Ensuring campaigns deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth and innovation.
  • Contributing to new business pitches and agency initiatives.

About You

  • 7+ years' experience within a media agency.
  • Strong media planning experience across offline and digital channels.
  • Proven senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent commercial and financial management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing client teams.
  • A strong understanding of media effectiveness and measurement.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
