Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute individual to join our Business Development Team. This is a strategic role responsible for shaping and executing our client growth strategy, strengthening long-term partnerships with key accounts, and driving sustainable revenue expansion. The successful candidate will play a critical role in influencing company priorities and aligning client strategy with business objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, Practice Heads, and client sponsors to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Summary of Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Head of Business Development UK and senior ‘sponsors’ of key client accounts, the role will involve:
Client Strategy & Account Management
- Leading the strategic direction of allocated key accounts, ensuring clear growth roadmaps aligned to objectives
- Building and maintaining relationships across client organisations
- Chairing and facilitating review meetings
- Developing and executing client development plans, identifying new growth opportunities
- Overseeing client handling frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and commercial focus
- Taking ownership of revenue performance and growth targets across the portfolio
- Executing discipline by monitoring progress against agreed actions and commitments
Commercial Growth & Market Development
- Partnering with Practice Heads to unlock cross-practice and specialist growth opportunities
- Identifying and quantifying pipeline opportunities, contributing to forecasting and budgeting
- Driving business development initiatives
- Providing leadership oversight to account management activity, ensuring alignment and accountability
Client Experience & Brand Positioning
- Working alongside the Client Services Lead to coordinate high-impact client engagement strategies
- Championing thought leadership, market positioning, and promotional initiatives that strengthen brand presence
- Ensuring clear communication of client intelligence and market insights across the business

Strategic Bids & Propositions
- Overseeing development of high-quality, strategic tender and due diligence responses
- Shaping compelling value propositions and differentiators
- Ensuring consistency of messaging aligned with business strategy
Leadership & Representation
- Representing the firm at industry conferences, events, and strategic forums
- Leading cross-functional projects aligned to growth and client strategy
Experience and Qualifications
- Success in leading client growth strategies within a professional or financial services environment
- A proven track record of winning, retaining, and expanding client relationships
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at Board and C-suite level
- Advanced stakeholder management skills across complex, matrixed environments
- Commercial acumen with experience managing revenue targets and forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- High levels of accountability, organisation, and attention to quality
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and internationally as required
