Client Listening Manager

Are you passionate about understanding what clients really think, turning feedback into meaningful action and influencing strategic decisions?

I'm currently working on an exciting opportunity with a leading international law firm that is looking to appoint a Client Listening Manager to join its growing Client Development team. This is a highly visible role with genuine influence, sitting at the heart of the firm's client growth and relationship strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing the firm's client listening and feedback programme.
  • Conducting strategic interviews with clients, including General Counsel and other senior stakeholders.
  • Analysing client feedback and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Working closely with partners and BD teams to strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Coaching stakeholders on effective client listening and relationship management techniques.
  • Driving continuous improvement and exploring innovative approaches, including AI and technology-enabled solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience within Client Development, Account Management, Client Experience or Client Listening.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent interviewing, communication, and influencing abilities.
  • The ability to turn complex feedback into meaningful commercial insight.
  • A strategic mindset coupled with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Experience within a professional services environment, ideally legal, accounting, or consulting.
