Client Manager
Location: Telford
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch break
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
We are recruiting for an accountancy practice based in Telford. They are looking for a Client Manager on a permanent basis. This role will be to support the Director, to provide high-quality accounting and tax services and advice to clients, ensuring that their accountancy needs are met.
Duties:
- Ownership and management of a portfolio of clients.
- Client facing role - being the main point of contact for these clients.
- Accounts for clients - planning, reviewing, meeting, and finalisation.
- Advising and giving guidance to clients on their accounts and other related matters.
- Remuneration planning.
- Overview of VAT returns/management accounts/year-end limited accounts and tax returns/personal tax returns.
- Being the main contact for your clients in regards corporation tax and personal tax services and review of these returns.
- Line management of 2 members of staff.
- Supporting the directors.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working in practice and team management are essential.
- Ideally qualified ACA/ACCA, although a finalist or qualified by experience accountant would be considered.
- You will need excellent IT skills with experience of accounting software and good written and verbal communication skills.
