Client Manager - Insurance

£64,000 basic + commission (Realistic Year 1 OTE £80k+)
Warwickshire
No previous insurance or medical experience required

You’ll be joining a fast-growing, specialist insurance broker with a genuinely different approach. Personal, precise, and built entirely on relationships rather than cold calling or comparison websites. They support over 1,000 senior medical professionals across the UK, providing a bespoke insurance solution and an ongoing service that goes far beyond the policy itself.

This isn't a call-centre sales job. There are no outbound targets, minimal cold prospecting, and most of the new business comes through referral. What you're really being hired to do is build and hold long-term relationships with some of the most accomplished, high-achieving professionals in the country. Consultant surgeons and senior medics who expect precision, discretion, and someone who can genuinely hold their own in the room.

The Role

As Client Manager, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients from first introduction through to renewal and beyond, prioritising the relationship, not the transaction. You will:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Build trust with new referrals and convert them into long-term clients
  • Manage and renew an existing client portfolio, delivering a level of service that feels personal rather than procedural
  • Represent the business at medical congresses, private hospital events, and corporate hospitality events. Think dinners, lunches, and functions where the conversation matters as much as the paperwork
  • Work closely with a panel of lenders and underwriters to secure the right outcome for each client
  • Keep the detail airtight: accurate policy binding and CRM records, because trust is earned in the follow through as much as the first meeting

What We're Looking For

This is a people-first role. You will come from a relationship-led, solution-based sales or account management background, but the sector is completely flexible. What matters far more is your ability to sit across the table from a senior consultant and talk comfortably about anything from a recent trip to the wine list, before earning the right to talk business. Are you:

  • A genuine relationship builder with the life experience and gravitas to engage confidently with wealthy, accomplished, and highly educated professionals
  • Sharp instincts with the ability to "read the room," adapt tone, and know when to listen versus lead
  • Polished and professional, equally at ease in a boardroom or over dinner
  • Meticulous with detail. The warmth must be backed by follow through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Degree-educated, or equally, shaped by strong life and career experience
  • A full driving licence and own car, with the flexibility to travel to meet clients regularly
  • Based within easy commuting distance of Warwickshire
