Background
Oppidan Education is a global mentoring programme for children, delivered in homes, online and in schools around the world. Adults have mentors, kids should too. The company is a fast-paced, dynamic group of 12 full-time staff based in Hammersmith and a team of 150+ mentors across London.
We are recruiting for a Junior Client Manager to join the team on a year agreement with scope to extend. This role combines sales and account management across Oppidan's family business, covering the sale of our one-to-one programmes for clients, managing relationships between each family and their mentor, and overseeing the administration, performance and retention that sit behind it. This is a 1-year fixed-term role covering maternity leave with scope to extend to a full-time contract. Reporting to Head of Families.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Administration
- Selling Oppidan’s mentoring programmes to families around the world.
- Managing the end-to-end client cycle
- Communicating regularly with Oppidan’s mentor team to help match up mentor and client.
- Engaging in meetings to develop the continued strategy around sales, pricing and positioning
- Ensuring all your client administration and data is up to date each month.

Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 per annum plus commission package for sales (OTE ~20-30%)
- Contract: 1-year fixed term, covering maternity leave, with scope to extend
- Start date: to cover maternity leave from December 2026
- Hybrid working: Tuesday-Thursday each week in Hammersmith office; Monday and Friday from home
- Extended WFH: allowance to use 2 weeks pa fully remote (post successful 3-month probation)
- 25 days’ holiday allowance + a discretionary 'closed office' week in late July (5 days)
- Fully comprehensive health and dental plan, with small salary sacrifice and no excess (post successful 3-month probation)
About You
- 2 years’ experience in a sales or client-facing role (desirable)
- Confident, personable and empathetic approach to managing clients, and mentor relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Calm and level-headed under pressure and ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of the importance of prioritisation
- Adept in CRM platforms
- Strong administrative skills and a process-driven approach
- Must have the right to work in the UK
