Your new company

This is not your typical accountancy practice role. Founded by experienced leaders from leading accountancy firms, this forward-thinking business has built a reputation for helping ambitious SMEs access high-quality finance support without the overhead of a full-time finance team.

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of businesses, industries and commercial challenges. The environment is modern, technology-driven and focused on delivering practical solutions that genuinely add value.

With a strong focus on flexibility, work-life balance and employee wellbeing, this is an opportunity to join a business that is challenging traditional ways of working within the profession.

Your new role

As a Management Accountant, you'll become a trusted adviser to a portfolio of growing businesses. You'll take ownership of monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting, helping business owners make informed commercial decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
