About Kaboodle & Weezevent
Kaboodle and Weezevent provide ticketing, cashless payment and access control technology for some of the UK and Europe’s best-known venues and events.
Kaboodle joined Weezevent in 2025, bringing together two experienced teams and a wider range of technology. Today, we support more than 25,000 clients with a team of around 300 people across the UK and Europe.
Our clients range from permanent venues and major festivals to sporting events and large-scale live experiences. In the UK, we work with names including Broadwick Live, Snowbombing, Lost Village, Boomtown and Victorious, alongside thousands of events across Europe.
With UK offices in Manchester and London and teams across Europe, it’s an exciting time to join us. We’re growing our UK business, developing our technology and working closely with our clients to make their events run better — from the initial on-sale right through to what happens on the ground on event day.
About The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, technically confident Client Manager to take significant ownership of a portfolio of clients, including a key Manchester venue partnership.
This is not a traditional desk-based account management role. You will be expected to be visible and present with their clients, regularly working from venues and client offices and developing a first-hand understanding of their operation.
Manchester will be your base, but you will support clients across multiple UK locations. Frequent travel is an essential part of the role, including the ability to travel at relatively short notice when a client or operational issue requires us to be on the ground.
The role combines client management, ticketing technology, hardware support, data analysis and live event operations. You'll be trusted with considerable responsibility for your clients and expected to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
What You'll Do
- Be the primary point of contact for the clients within your portfolio and take responsibility for the successful day-to-day delivery of our services.
- Maintain a strong face-to-face presence with your clients, spending significant time at their venues and offices.
- Travel regularly to client locations across the UK, including at short notice when operational requirements demand it.
- Take ownership of your client relationships and become a trusted extension of their operational teams.
- Provide hands-on technical support and training for our on-site hardware, including setting up, testing, troubleshooting and resolving issues with equipment used for ticketing, access control and other event operations.
- Diagnose hardware and connectivity issues methodically and confidently in live environments, escalating where necessary while retaining ownership of the issue.
- Prepare and configure hardware ahead of events and ensure equipment is operationally ready before going live.
- Set up and configure events within our ticketing and associated platforms, including ticket types, allocations, access requirements and other system configuration.
- Support key on-sales and live events, responding quickly when technical or operational problems arise.
- Develop an excellent understanding of how our hardware and software work together, enabling you to investigate problems rather than simply report them.
- Become a product expert and help clients make effective use of the technology available to them.
- Use reporting and data to analyse ticket sales, customer behaviour and operational performance, identifying trends, issues and opportunities.
- Turn data into useful client insight and recommendations rather than simply producing reports.
- Coordinate client requirements and issues across Client Operations, Product, Finance and Customer Service.
- Translate client feedback and operational problems into clear technical requirements for our Product and Engineering teams.
- Lead client reviews and post-event debriefs, using both data and operational experience to recommend improvements.
- Support the implementation and onboarding of new clients, including on-site installation, testing, training and event delivery where required.
- Take ownership when something goes wrong: understand the problem, coordinate the right people and see it through to resolution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
