Client Manager - UK Construction Risks - London
Are you an experienced Construction insurance professional who thrives on building strategic client relationships and delivering outstanding outcomes? What the day will look like
In this wide and varied role your key responsibilities will include:
- Build and strengthen relationships with some of the UK's most prominent developers, owners, investors and funders, acting as their trusted adviser on complex construction risks.
- Lead the delivery of innovative insurance solutions, including OCIPs, latent defects insurance and construction contract reviews.
- Drive renewal and placement strategies that deliver exceptional client outcomes, long-term retention and sustainable portfolio growth.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities while unlocking cross-sell potential across Aon's wider capabilities.
- Represent Aon in the London construction market, building your profile and developing influential relationships across the industry.
- Share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring team members and helping to shape a high-performing, collaborative culture while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and governance.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Strong experience within the construction insurance market, with a solid understanding of construction risks, insurance solutions and market dynamics.
- Working knowledge of Owner Controlled Insurance Programmes (OCIPs), Latent Defects Insurance, and other construction-related insurance products.
- Ability to review and interpret insurance provisions within construction contracts, development agreements and funding agreements, identifying key risks and engaging specialist expertise when required.
- Proven track record of building trusted client relationships, coordinating service delivery and supporting client retention and growth objectives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and deliver positive client outcomes.
- Commercially focused, highly organised and proactive, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to Aon's values and "One Firm" culture.
