Client Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for a Client Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and retain a portfolio of clients through building strong relationships, understanding their needs, and working with a range of internal colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between £30,000 to £35,000 a year, depending on experience. A commission scheme will be in addition (OTE up to £80,000 a year).

Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the Advania portfolio, sales processes, and relevant internal teams.
- Managing an assigned client portfolio and cultivating effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Regularly reviewing client accounts and updating account plans that outline objectives, risks, and development opportunities.
- Conducting service reviews at agreed intervals, documenting actions, and ensuring follow-up on required tasks.
- Addressing client enquiries and concerns proactively, working closely with Service Delivery and relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Ensuring that all client-related information, including contacts and meeting activities, is accurately recorded in the CRM system.
- Monitoring progress towards agreed revenue, gross profit, retention, and growth targets, while maintaining a credible pipeline for renewals and upsell opportunities.

What Success Looks Like
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Advania portfolio, sales processes, service standards, CRM requirements, and relevant internal teams.
- Take ownership of the assigned client portfolio and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Review each account and create or update plans covering client objectives, stakeholders, risks, renewal dates, and development opportunities.
- Establish a service review cadence, producing accurate notes, actions, owners, and timescales, ensuring follow-through.
- Proactively manage client enquiries, concerns, and escalations, collaborating effectively with Service Delivery and other teams.
- Maintain complete and accurate client contacts, meeting activity, account information, and sales opportunities in the CRM system.
- Track progress against revenue, gross profit, retention, and account growth expectations, ensuring a credible pipeline of renewal and development opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
The right candidate for this role will have:
- Experience in managing SME client portfolios with a consultative approach to build long-term relationships.
- Proven ability in client retention, renewals, and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Skilled in leading service review meetings, documenting actions, and ensuring follow-through across internal teams.
- Understanding of revenue, gross profit, account profitability, service usage, and contracted consumption.
- Experienced in CRM management, sales forecasting, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Ability to comprehend client needs and collaborate with Pre-Sales and specialist teams to devise suitable solutions.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Committed to learning about managed IT, cybersecurity, AI, and the Microsoft ecosystem.
