Job Description

Reports to: Sales Manager / Director
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire (LaserTec office)
Hours: Full time
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 plus commission (dependent on experience)

Purpose of the Role

A hybrid role split roughly evenly between key account management and sales/trial coordination. You'll own the day to day relationship with one of our key clients, service the account and actively grow it, while also coordinating laser cleaning trials and jobs from enquiry through to completion for the wider sales team. This is a genuine growth role: as LaserTec expands, it's designed to develop into a Sales Project Consultant / Executive position with broader account and project ownership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

Key account management (approx. 50%)

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a key client, managing day to day communication and relationship
  • Service the account: respond to needs, resolve issues, and keep delivery running smoothly
  • Actively grow the account: identify opportunities for repeat business, expanded scope, or new areas of the client's business we could serve, and bring these to the sales team
  • Coordinate scheduling, job requirements, and follow up for this account so it runs smoothly without constant escalation
  • Build enough technical and commercial understanding of the account to speak confidently on both service delivery and next steps

Sales support and trial coordination (approx. 50%)

  • Own the trial/job coordination process end to end: collating client and job details from the salesperson, chasing technical execs for trial specifics, and confirming logistics with scheduling and operatives
  • Maintain and update trial brief documentation (client details, site requirements, equipment lists, PPE, laser settings) so every section is complete before a trial goes ahead
  • Keep the CRM system current, including deals, contacts, notes, and photo attachments from site visits
  • Coordinate diaries between sales, technical, and operatives to confirm trial dates, technician availability, and travel/accommodation where needed
  • Chase outstanding information (client confirmations, site access requirements, equipment checks) so trials aren't delayed
  • Produce and format client facing documents (quotes, trial briefs, follow up summaries) to brand standard
  • Support general sales admin: processing enquiries, updating pipeline records, basic reporting for the sales team

What you'll need

  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a sales admin, account coordination, or client facing role
  • Comfortable owning a client relationship, not just processing admin for one
  • A commercial mindset: able to spot and act on opportunities to grow an account, not just service it
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple moving parts at once
  • Confident with CRM systems
  • Good written and verbal communication, comfortable liaising directly with clients
  • Methodical and detail focused, particularly with technical or site information
  • Ambition and appetite to grow into a broader consultant/executive role as responsibilities expand

What's on offer

  • £25,000 to £28,000 basic, plus commission
  • Benefits, holiday, pension
  • A defined growth path: this role is the entry point to a Sales Project Consultant / Executive position as the company scales, with increasing account ownership and commercial responsibility
  • Real ownership from day one, including a key client relationship you help grow, rather than a narrow back office admin function
  • Friendly company culture focused on teamwork
