Long-term Development to Senior Management - Amazing Team - Flexibility

In this role, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, review work completed by the team and get involved in a complete mix of technical accounting work, including accounts, tax and general advisory.

We’re working with an established accountancy practice in Woking that is looking for an experienced Accountant or Client Manager to join its team - anyone who is qualified or QBE with around 3-4+ years in practice could be a good fit!

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. Rather than being restricted to one area, you’ll work across a complete mix of accounting services, building strong relationships with clients and becoming a key point of contact for their accounting and tax requirements.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns, VAT returns and management accounts
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and other personal tax matters
  • Providing clients with day-to-day accounting and tax support
  • Reviewing work completed by junior and semi-senior team members
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing less experienced accountants
  • Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships
  • Getting involved in more technical and advisory work where appropriate
