Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking an Experienced Client Manager to join its leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to take the next step in their career, with a genuine pathway to Director and Partner level.
As the firm continues to evolve, they are looking for someone who can help drive the business forward, build lasting client relationships and become an integral part of the firm's long-term succession plans.
The Role
As an Experienced Client Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting, tax and business advisory services whilst leading and supporting members of the wider team.
Working closely with the Directors, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, identifying opportunities for business growth and contributing to the continued success of the practice.

Working Hours and Benefits
- Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm & Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
- Clear progression pathway to Director and Partner level.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business clients across a range of sectors.
- Review statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- Build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to add value through proactive business advice.
- Manage workflow and support the development of junior team members.
- Assist with practice development and wider business advisory projects.
- Support the Directors in delivering outstanding client service and strategic growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Holder of a current Practising Certificate.
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching and developing team members.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
Desirable
- Responsible Individual (RI) status would be highly advantageous.
- Candidates currently working towards RI status, or aspiring to obtain it in the future, are strongly encouraged to apply.
