Job Title: Customer Migration Lead
High-growth global FinTech payments scale-up requires a Customer Migration Lead with deep card issuing expertise to drive the end-to-end migration of clients onto their strategic issuing/payments platform.
This role sits at the heart of a complex, multi-programme migration function — you'll need to have already done this, not just managed generic technical transformations. We're looking for someone who has lived through the operational reality of migrating card programmes: BIN/product moves, processor cutovers, cardholder data transitions, and the regulatory choreography that comes with it.
You will be the bridge between commercial, product, technology, and operations teams, owning migration strategy, client engagement, and executive stakeholder management from inception to adoption — representing both the business and its clients throughout, with zero tolerance for cardholder disruption or revenue leakage.

Essential Requirements:
- Direct card issuing experience — you understand BIN sponsorship, processor/platform migrations, card program transitions, and the cardholder-facing risks unique to issuing (re-issuance, activation, authorisation continuity).
- A track record across multiple, varied payment migrations — not a single large programme, but repeated exposure to different migration types (processor-to-processor, platform modernisation, acquisition integration, multi-BIN consolidation) so you can pattern-match risk fast.
- Proven leadership of large-scale client migration programmes in payments, fintech, banking, or regulated financial services.
- Strong commercial and client leadership across enterprise/strategic accounts, including migration-related renegotiation and churn risk management.
- Experience running complex, cross-functional transformation programmes spanning product, tech, and operations.
- Excellent communicator with stakeholder management experience across executive, commercial, and technical audiences.
- Experience managing migration risk, readiness, and client transition in fast-paced, multi-priority environments.

Desirable:
- Multi-country/multi-regulator migration experience (e.g. FCA, EU PSD2, other regional card scheme requirements).
- Exposure to major card scheme migration requirements (Visa/Mastercard) and scheme mandate management during transitions.
- Cloud/platform modernisation experience within a card issuing or payments environment.
This is a Permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary plus 20% bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid — 1-2 days per week in our client's Central London office, remainder remote.
