A well-established US wealth manager, listed in the NYSE and part of the S&P 500, is recruiting for a Client Administrator within the operations team in the wealth management arm of the business in London.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Administrator to join our Operations team in London. In this role, you will support a variety of administrative duties, including document screening, account opening, deceased account processing, handling technical queries, and participating in ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen anti-money laundering (AML) documentation for various account types, including GIA, ISAs, Pensions, OPBs, and Trusts.
  • Validate documents such as cheques and W-8 forms.
  • Manage account opening processes and continuously monitor pending accounts.
  • Administer deceased accounts, including requesting probate valuations.
  • Handle account closures, including calculating and deducting closing fees.
  • Allocate valid W-8 forms to accounts and chase expired documentation.
  • Perform all types of static data amendments.
  • Process client and provider payments, initial ISA subscriptions, internal client journals, and set up regular payments, standing orders, and income sweeps.
  • Deduct ad hoc charges such as custody, financial adviser, management, and valuation fees.
  • Address all client administration and internal/external queries within agreed service levels.

  • Experience working in the wealth management / stock broking or financial services industry
  • Experience in either AML and/or account opening/account closing/client administration and support
  • Knowledge of ISAs/IFAs/OBPs/GIAs and/or Pensions
  • Effective both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Quality-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
