Client Operations Executive - TEMP
Are you highly organised, commercially minded and genuinely good with Excel?
KMK are seeking a Client Operations Executive to temp for a consultancy client of ours in the City. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working directly with clients and suppliers, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
This is not a traditional admin role. You’ll have real responsibility for managing client activity, coordinating operational processes and handling the financial administration behind the service.
The Role
You’ll become a key point of contact for both clients and suppliers, managing activity across the full client lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing client onboarding and operational workflows from start to finish
- Building strong relationships with clients and suppliers via email and telephone
- Preparing quotations, savings schedules and invoices using Excel
- Processing invoicing and commission accurately and in real time
- Managing queries and taking ownership through to resolution
- Maintaining accurate records, systems and documentation
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure clients receive a seamless service
- Identifying issues, solving problems and continually looking for ways to improve processes
About You
We’re looking for someone who is bright, organised, numerate and commercially aware, with the confidence to take ownership rather than wait to be told what to do. You’ll ideally have:

- Strong practical Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivots and structured templates
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy
- Confidence communicating with clients and suppliers at all levels
- Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial or lean business environment
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to work at pace without compromising accuracy
