Key Responsibilities

Business Growth

  • Revenue & Profit Growth: Ensure the overall growth of VAU by leading major sales campaigns, securing scalable divisions, and developing high-impact solutions. Drive overall revenue expansion and profitability for the Virtual Account Unit (VAU) through strategic planning and execution.

Business Development

  • New Business Development: Lead expansion into new geographies, divisions, and business units within key accounts.
  • Big Deal Sales Campaign: Lead large strategic deal campaigns including strategy, solution development, commercials, negotiations, closure, and start-up engagement plans, while guiding Client Partners.
  • Cross selling: Cross sell existing services to new accounts/divisions.

Customer Relationships Building

  • Trusted Relationship Building: Build and maintain senior-level and operational relationships with existing and new customers (CXO, Head of Engg. & Procurement, engineering managers and Champions), enhancing the company's brand promise as a Trusted Thinking Partner of Choice.
  • Joint solution development: Understand the customer challenges and work with them towards joint solution development thereby providing unsolicited proposals (L3/L4/L5)

Strategic Planning

  • VBU strategy: Drive the overall VAU strategy, including Account Plan (StrAP): Conduct account analysis, competitive assessments, and SWOT evaluations to identify growth opportunities and investment priorities.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing strategies to meet company and customer objectives, leading long-term agreements and pricing negotiations with strategic customers.

  • Business Development & Revenue Growth: Proven ability to drive account expansion, deal structuring (L2/L3), and revenue growth, leveraging insights into customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning to maximize business opportunities.
  • Strategic Customer Relationship Management: Strong track record of building and influencing mid-level customer relationships, positioning the organization as a trusted partner to shape customer strategy, drive long-term engagements, and secure high-value opportunities.
  • Commercial & Sales Expertise: Expertise in deal structuring, pricing, contract negotiations, and value-based selling, ensuring profitable customer engagements and strong financial outcomes.
  • Market & Industry Intelligence: Deep understanding of engineering services, adjacent technologies, industry trends, and competitor positioning, enabling data-driven decision-making, strategic differentiation, and market expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution: Ability to lead and align matrixed teams, managing sales, delivery, and strategic account functions to ensure seamless execution, customer success, and profitable business growth.
  • Proposal & Solution Development: Skilled in developing and executing strategic campaigns, crafting customer-centric solutions, and leading high-impact proposal efforts, ensuring a strong competitive edge in both solicited and unsolicited opportunities.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required); Master’s or MBA (preferred).
