The Big Picture

At ClearSky, we design bespoke software and AI solutions. We’ve completely retired the old high-volume, cold-outreach sales model. Instead, our commercial strategy is built entirely on trust, authority, and deep human-to-human relationships. We win when we are "in the room."

We are looking for a target-driven, relationship-led Client Partner to join us in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You won't be spamming lists of thousands. Instead, you will own a highly curated target list of top-tier prospects in Financial Services and Regulated Industries, building genuine networks and nurturing deep trust. Your focus will be on building trust and opening doors; our technical team step in to lead the technical deep dives and solution architecture.

💼 What You’ll Get

  • Up to £45,000 Base Salary + target-driven commission structure & up to 10% bonus
  • 34 days holiday (including your birthday off).
  • Private medical, dental, and wellbeing support.
  • Enhanced parental and family policies.
  • Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow - Hybrid (An "out-and-about" role attending meetings and events across both cities. Trust-based flexibility: Late-night networking event or hosted dinner? Don't worry about logging in at 9 AM the next morning)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build the Top Tier: Take ownership of a targeted list of high-value prospects (£25M+ revenue), moving them systematically from initial touchpoints to active partnerships.
  • Get "In the Room": Attend industry events, host private dinners, and set up trust-building coffee meetings without a hard sales pitch.
  • Lead Discovery & Sit-downs: Engage enterprise decision-makers, lead pre-sales discovery, and bridge the gap to secure strategic meetings for our technical and leadership teams.
  • Guide senior leaders toward our complimentary Future Labs Workshops a high-value, bespoke discovery session where our tech leaders help them map their AI and software roadmap
  • Maintain clear, simple tracking of relationship milestones and next steps

What You Bring

  • Trust-Based Selling: Proven experience in B2B business development, account management, or strategic partnerships (tech or professional services preferred, but understanding people is what matters most).
  • Enterprise Savvy: The business acumen and confidence to navigate and build trust with senior leaders within complex, enterprise-level organisations.
  • An Active Networker: You love being out in the industry, meeting people face-to-face, and systematically nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Value-First Mentality: You reject the premature "hard sell," focusing instead on genuine rapport so we are perfectly positioned when the timing is right.
  • Target-Driven Focus: You thrive when measured against clear, objective quarterly goals and are motivated by a strong commission structure.
