Client Partner

Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (DOE) + 15% annual company bonus

Working: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Location: Leeds Office (LS10 1LJ) (Hybrid) + 2 days a week at client site

At GIG Retail, we help retailers and brands connect with customers in smarter, more meaningful ways. We’re on a mission to drive what’s next in retail media and we’re looking for a Client Partner to help us do it.

In this role, you will hold end-to-end accountability for client strategy, account growth, and team leadership. You won't just manage accounts, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, steering retail media strategies that deliver tangible, market-leading results.

The Role

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver sustainable and profitable business growth by developing client relationships, driving strategic account planning, and leading a high-performing team to execute high-impact retail media campaigns.

Strategic Account Leadership:

  • Build and execute long-term, comprehensive account plans and OKRs aligned with both client priorities and internal growth goals.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary senior escalation point and trusted advisor. Proactively challenge, guide, and recommend solutions to elevate client performance.

P&L & Financial Management:

  • Take full ownership of account profitability, CRM forecasting, campaign budgeting, and margin-improvement initiatives.

  • Spot and capture upsell/cross-sell opportunities, drive pitch activities, and champion client engagement strategies, case studies, and thought leadership.

Market Innovation:

  • Stay ahead of retail media trends, working closely with internal Product, Proposition, and Operations teams to pilot cutting-edge solutions for your clients.

What You'll Bring To The Role:

  • Proven experience in managing high-value client portfolios within retail media, marketing, or agency environments.
  • Strong track record of holding P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, and expanding client accounts.
  • Confidence in influencing, challenging, and building trust with senior executive level client contacts.
  • Experience building, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams to deliver top-tier client service.
  • Ability to translate complex market insights and emerging technologies into actionable, revenue-generating client strategies.
