Client Partner – UK Public Sector

Location: London (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of a major Central Government account undergoing a multi-year transformation across:

  • Cloud
  • Data & Analytics
  • Legacy & Application Modernisation
  • Application Services
  • Managed Services

The successful candidate will combine commercial leadership, account growth, strategic relationship management, and delivery governance.

What You Will Own

  • Overall commercial ownership of the account, including P&L, forecasting, and margin performance
  • Building and maintaining senior relationships with Directors and Senior Civil Servants
  • Growing the account through new workstreams, framework call-offs, and competitive bids
  • Leading governance across a complex delivery footprint spanning Cloud, Data, Applications, and Managed Services
  • Driving bid and pursuit strategy alongside Solution Architects, Pricing, and Delivery leadership
  • Identifying new opportunities to expand and grow account revenue
  • Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and referenceability
  • Bringing together cross-functional teams in a complex matrix organisation

You Should Ideally Have:

  • Proven experience managing a major UK Public Sector or Central Government account
  • A strong track record of growing accounts towards or beyond £10M+ annual revenue
  • Strong commercial experience covering P&L, revenue growth, margin, and forecasting
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Government procurement and frameworks, including:
    • Crown Commercial Service (CCS)
    • G-Cloud
    • Digital Outcomes
    • Competitive Tendering
    • Framework Call-Offs
  • Credibility and experience engaging with senior civil servants and executive stakeholders
  • Experience selling and delivering complex Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data, and Technology Modernisation programmes
  • Strong experience working within a matrix environment and influencing Delivery, Pre-Sales, and Solution teams
  • Existing SC Clearance, or eligibility and willingness to undergo the clearance process
