Client Partnerships Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Partnerships Manager based in United Kingdom.
Take ownership of strategic client relationships within a technology-driven environment serving demanding financial markets.
You’ll manage the full client journey, from initial sales conversations and solution design through onboarding, service delivery, and ongoing account management.
The role combines relationship management, commercial development, technical coordination, and operational leadership.
- You’ll work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and ensure services meet high standards for performance and availability.
- You’ll also identify growth opportunities, support new business initiatives, and help shape products and processes as the organization evolves.
This is a high-ownership position suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating across teams, and turning opportunities into action.
- You’ll have direct visibility into strategic decisions and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a lean, collaborative, and flexible remote environment.
Accountabilities
- Own relationships with existing clients and develop strong, long-term partnerships based on trust, responsiveness, and consistent service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions, requests, requirements, and escalations.
- Understand client business and technical needs and ensure infrastructure services meet expectations around performance, availability, and reliability.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and introduce additional products or services.
- Manage inbound sales inquiries and new business opportunities from initial engagement through onboarding.
- Understand technical requirements and help shape appropriate infrastructure and hosting solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop customized configurations, solutions, and pricing.
- Guide prospective clients throughout the sales and onboarding process.
- Identify potential partnerships, new markets, and business development opportunities.
- Lead client communication during technical incidents and coordinate with engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 issues.
- Help diagnose connectivity, hosting, server, and infrastructure-related problems while maintaining ownership of the client experience.
- Ensure incidents are communicated clearly, tracked effectively, and resolved within appropriate expectations, including preparing client-facing updates and incident reports.
- Escalate complex technical matters to relevant specialists while remaining accountable for communication and follow-through.
- Support day-to-day operations and cross-functional initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and the overall client experience.
- Lead strategic projects from initial concept through execution and collaborate with leadership on new products, services, and operational initiatives.
- Help develop a high-performing cross-functional team by mentoring colleagues, coordinating priorities, and establishing effective workflows across sales, support, engineering, and operations.

Requirements
- Proven experience in client management, customer success, account management, technical account management, or a comparable client-facing role.
- Professional experience within technology, infrastructure, hosting, data centers, IaaS, cloud, or related services.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to discuss infrastructure confidently and troubleshoot issues at a high level.
- Strong commercial mindset and experience supporting sales activities, account expansion, upselling, or business development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated capacity to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and move projects forward without constant supervision.
- Experience coordinating or leading cross-functional teams and initiatives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility and willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
- Experience with hosting, dedicated servers, VPS, colocation, or data center environments is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of low-latency infrastructure and high-availability environments is highly valued.
- Experience supporting clients in FX, trading, investment, fintech, or other financial-market environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with networking, servers, virtualization, and infrastructure troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Experience with SLAs, incident management, and service delivery is beneficial.
- Previous experience building teams, processes, or operational functions within a growing organization is a plus.
