Client Payments Assistant

We are looking for an organised, proactive Client Payments Assistant to join our busy London team. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable commercial insight into the entertainment and talent management industries by working directly with Client Managers, agents, and senior finance leaders.

If you have experience in accounts payable, payroll, or payment processing and a passion for media, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoicing: Review sales orders and remittances to issue accurate client and VAT invoices.
  • Payments: Support fortnightly client payment runs and draft statements for manager approval.
  • Banking: Prepare daily BACS data, input sales receipts, and monitor unallocated payments.
  • Multi-Currency: Reconcile bank accounts across GBP, USD, and EUR.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Talent Managers to resolve client payment queries and timelines.
  • Credit Control: Monitor outstanding debts and chase debtors as required.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the wider finance team with admin tasks and business analysis.

About You

  • Experience: Prior background in accounts payable, payroll, or client payment processing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with an organised, deadline-driven approach.
  • Mindset: A proactive self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
  • Passions: A keen interest in media and entertainment (no prior industry experience required).
