We're looking for an experienced Client Payroll Executive to join our Education Managed Services team and take ownership of a portfolio of client payrolls. If you're passionate about payroll, enjoy solving problems, and love building strong customer relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As a Client Payroll Executive, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services for multiple clients while acting as their trusted payroll expert.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance, maintaining exceptional service standards, and supporting continuous improvements across our payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related enquiries.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
  • Produce payroll reports and client documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with internal specialist teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

About You

You'll have:

  • Previous payroll processing experience, ideally within a payroll bureau, managed services, or outsourced payroll environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • Experience with IRIS Payroll, Earnie or similar payroll software.
  • Progress towards or completion of a CIPP qualification.
