Join UK Therapy Guide as a Client Placement Specialist

Are you a people-focused professional who thrives on meaningful conversations and real-world impact?

We’re looking for a results-driven Client Placement Specialist to join UK Therapy Guide on a part-time, freelance basis. This fully remote position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment and is passionate about guiding individuals on their mental health journey.

In this role, you’ll work directly with clients during live placement calls, offering empathetic, confident support as you guide them from their first enquiry to the start of their therapy journey. Your ability to listen, reassure, and inspire trust will play a vital role in helping clients take an important step toward better mental health. You won’t be doing this alone. We provide comprehensive training, clear guidance, and operate under strict safeguarding procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care for both clients and our team.

Hours

Part-time: Approximately 17 hours per week.

This role is based on 4-hour shifts. Our core shift blocks are:

  • 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The successful candidate must have the flexibility to work a combination of both morning and evening shifts to complete their weekly hours.

Pay: £14 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully guide clients from initial inquiry to a booked first session through empathetic and effective placement calls.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, understand their needs, and expertly match them with the most suitable therapist from our network.
  • Ensure a high level of client and therapist satisfaction by providing timely and helpful support.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our placement process by gathering and managing client feedback.
  • Manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate data to ensure a smooth client journey.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a target-driven customer service role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build trust with clients to guide decisions.
  • Demonstrated resilience, with the ability to handle objections and remain composed under pressure.
  • Goal-oriented, with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets.
  • Confidence in assertive and persuasive communication, gently guiding hesitant clients towards making a decision.
  • Highly organised and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including expertise with Google Workspace and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
