Client PM/PMO Co-ordinator

Location

Our Staines or Cheadle office

Hybrid Working

3 days in office and 2 days from home

About the Role

The Client PM/PMO Co-ordinator is a hybrid role responsible for governance, standards, planning, executing, portfolio alignment, closing projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Work in this role will be decided by the leadership team based on business needs. This may mean the role is fully dedicated to PMO work based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain project management standards and frameworks
  • Provide portfolio, programme, and project reporting (RAID, financials, KPIs)
  • Facilitate and coordinate the planning for delivery of client implementations
  • Develop and define project plans, scope, objectives, milestones, and delivery plans to budget and timeframe
  • Support solutions and allocations teams including effort modelling enquiries regarding the Project Management area
  • Support project initiation, prioritisation, and governance forums
  • Ensure compliance with processes, controls, and best practices
  • Track benefits realisation and delivery assurance
  • Coach and support Project Managers
  • Maintenance of plans, documentation, tools and internal process improvements relating to Project Place and PlanView that the Implementation department and Sales department use to support BAU business
  • Maintains Project Place training collateral and rolls out training and processes to the department
  • Lead calls and meetings with associates and clients at all levels
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and report status
  • Ensure governance, documentation, and change control are followed
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of HCM (Payroll, HR, Time) implementations
  • Proven experience delivering projects (IT / business change / transformation)
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills at senior level
  • Risk, dependency, and financial management experience
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods
  • Certification preferred (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM)
  • Experience working in a PMO or portfolio management role
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and governance capability
  • Experience of Data Migration, User Acceptance Testing and Parallel Run processes (desirable)
  • A general understanding of the ADP Service model is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and process discipline
  • Tools: Power BI, Excel, PPM tools, Jira, MS Project, Project Place, Planview
